The Farley Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation supports Northwestern students beyond the classroom through connections to student groups, mentors, and spaces on campus, and resources available in the local Chicago entrepreneurship and innovation community.

EPIC

EPIC is a student group that supports entrepreneurs and innovators through events, field trips and more. EPIC is advised by staff from the Farley Center and The Garage.

The Garage

The Garage at Northwestern is a community and physical space for every Northwestern student to learn, iterate and grow.

1871

Northwestern students can apply to gain access to work within 1871, Chicago’s largest startup incubator. Engineers, innovators and entrepreneurs building Chicago’s next tech ventures work within the large space located within the Merchandise Mart. Through Northwestern’s partnership with 1871, students can request access to the following 1871 resources:

  • Events and Workshops
  • Pyros curriculum
  • Onsite Access (General Area and Conference Room Space)
  • 1871 Mentors

mHUB

Northwestern students working on entrepreneurship and innovation projects have access to resources at mHUB, the Midwest's leading independent physical product innovation center. Learn more by contacting us at farley@northwestern.edu.

Entrepreneurs in Residence

The Farley Center’s entrepreneurs in residence are experienced entrepreneurs that are available to mentor and coach entrepreneurial students from any Northwestern school.
