Farley Bay Area Quarter

Innovation and entrepreneurship studies in San Francisco

Spend winter quarter in Silicon Valley, one of the world’s most significant hubs for technology and startups. Take four classes that count toward the Farley entrepreneurship minor, network with Northwestern alumni, visit early-stage and established companies, and escape Illinois during the coldest months of the year.

The classes will be uniquely designed to leverage the resources in the Bay Area and therefore will not be duplicates of classes offered in Evanston.

Who should apply?

Applications are required for the Farley Bay Area Quarter. Any Northwestern undergraduate student is eligible to apply if they meet at least one of the following requirements:

*The required Principles of Entrepreneurship class can be taken in the Fall quarter that precedes the program.

Applications for Winter 2024 open April 10.

Sign up for an upcoming information session to learn more, and stay tuned for the application link, which will be posted to this page on April 10!
