Farley Center Welcomes New Faculty Members for Fall Quarter

The Farley Center welcomes Andrew Bollhoefer and Anne Marie Johlie to its faculty lineup.

The Farley Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation at Northwestern University is pleased to welcome two new adjunct lecturers to its faculty this fall. 

"We are thrilled to welcome Andrew Bollhoefer and Anne Marie Johlie to our faculty," said Farley Center Director Hayes Ferguson. "Their extensive industry experience and passion for entrepreneurship will be invaluable assets to our students." 

 

Andrew Bollhoefer 

Andrew Bollhoefer is the vice president of US sales at PolyNovo Limited where he leads the company’s US medical device sales team and commercial growth strategy. He has held various leadership roles in the medical device industry and is also a guest lecturer at Northwestern's Kellogg School of Management. Bollhoefer graduated with a bachelor of arts from the University of Pennsylvania and an MBA from Kellogg. He will teach Entrepreneurial Sales and Marketing this fall. 

“My hope is that the students will come away with an understanding of the science and applicability of the concepts for entrepreneurial sales and marketing and that it will foster future entrepreneurial ventures for them and for society as a whole,” Bollhoefer said. 

 

Anne Marie Johlie 

Anne Marie Johlie is head of the internet of things business unit and product cyber security at Parker Hannifin. Previously, she worked in various management positions at Motorola and as the VP of project management at Mobilitie. She has a bachelor of science from the University of Dayton and a master’s of science from the University of Illinois Chicago. Johlie has been a longtime adviser to NUvention: Energy and Sustainability and will teach it this fall.  

“I hope to inspire students to think in new, creative, and different ways to solve the world’s energy and sustainability problems,” Johlie said.
