Biography
Cheng is the founder of Gen 1 Capital and has managed venture capital funds investing $200M+ in 70+ startups across a wide array of cutting-edge industries—including artificial intelligence, machine learning, robotics, computer vision, space technology, autonomous vehicles, sensors, genomic sequencing, healthtech, and fintech, among others. Several investments have yielded remarkable success culminating in several IPOs and acquisitions. In addition, he serves on the advisory board for several NUvention courses. He has a BS from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, MS from Northwestern, and MBA from University of Chicago.
